The Friends of Lucky Dube, Minnesota group was founded after the tragic and untimely death of Lucky Dube on October 19, 2007 . Lucky Dube was gunned down in a carjacking attempt in Johannesburg , South Africa . We view this as a tragic and unnecessary loss of a patriot whose revolutionary lyrics had inspire many throughout the world. Our goal is to provide charitable assistance to help foster his legacy.
